Altozano

Altozano La Nueva Mérida is a master-planned community rather than a single building — residences and lots set among lakes and landscaped grounds, arranged in private clusters behind controlled access.

The residences run from 180 m² to 223 m² of construction, in three- and four-bedroom configurations with two and a half, four and a half, or five bathrooms. Layouts typically include a family room, a drawing room, a separate dining room, an independent service area, a terrace, a private pool and roofed parking — the service area in particular is a Mérida convention that buyers from outside Mexico often overlook when comparing floor plans.

The wider development carries its own social and sports club, a mall, bike and jogging paths, low-speed internal streets, and lakes threaded through the private roads. Utilities and electrical cabling are run underground, which is the reason the streetscape reads the way it does.

Mérida is an inland city, and the case for it is different from the coast: it is bought for daily living, schools, healthcare and safety rather than for beach frontage or rental turnover. Altozano is aimed squarely at that buyer.
