Mercedes-Benz Places is the marque’s first residential project in North America, in Brickell, Miami. It is not a branding exercise attached to a finished building — the Mercedes-Benz design team worked on it from the outset with SHoP Architects, interiors by Woods Bagot and landscaping by Field Operations, developed by JDS Development Group.
The scheme is mixed by design: condominium residences, office and wellness space, a hotel, and a newly built public park by Field Operations. That mix matters to an owner, because it determines what is open downstairs on a Tuesday evening rather than only in season.
Interiors follow the marque’s visual language rather than a generic luxury template — crisp blacks and whites, warm woods, and the graphic detailing the brand is recognised for.
Residences run from studios to three bedrooms. Amenities include a rooftop pool reserved for residents, two signature restaurants and a cocktail bar, sun and garden pools with towel and food service, residents’ lounges, co-working space and a library, a screening room, a chef’s kitchen with private dining, a children’s room, a recording studio, and a Mercedes-Benz race car simulator. Mercedes-Benz house cars, 24/7 concierge and valet, and EV charging are part of the operation.
For a buyer weighing Brickell towers, the distinction is that the mobility and service layer was designed in rather than added — which is the part hardest for a competing building to retrofit.

The Mercedes-Benz design team was involved from the outset, working with SHoP Architects (with ODP as architect of record), interiors by Woods Bagot and landscaping by Field Operations. It is developed by JDS Development Group under license from Mercedes-Benz — the condominium itself is developed and sold by 191 SW 12 Owner LLC, not by Mercedes-Benz or its affiliates, who assume no liability for the project.
